PETER LIEW 劉偉建

Peter Liew Vui Ching was born in Sabah with a Sino-Dusun mother. He studied Chinese primary school and later went to SM All Saints and La Salle for secondary schools before pursuing his master degree in architecture and urban design in Los Angeles, California. As a professional, he designed and managed his own development and in early 2000 he completed two medium scales housing and shop-lot projects.

Peter accepted Christ in 1985 and is a member of Basel Church (BCCM) in Sabah. His world view about existence and redemption shifted after attending the Haggai Institute in Maui, Hawaii in 2017.
He is married to Christine Chan in Hong Kong and has a son, Jia Jun who is reading Law and Finance at HKU.
