DAVID YAP 叶启忠

Bro. David’s initial career was distinguished by two stellar decades in advertising and corporate communications.

From 2013 to 2016, he answered the nation’s call to serve in the Malaysian Government as Secretary to the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department in charge of Governance, Integrity and Human Rights.

Thereafter, David returned to the private sector as Director of Corporate Affairs with the Linaco Group, leading a large scale public-private initiative leveraging the cultivation of high-yield coconut palms to bring socio-economic transformation to poor communities in East Malaysia.

He has served with FGBMFI Malaysia since 2008 in various positions over the years, including Chapter President, Chapter Coordinator, Chairman of the Communications Committee and National Coordinator for Chapter Development.
