I have heard John McLennan speak before at the Men’s Camp (2004) in Awana , Genting Highlands. I noticed that this gentleman preached consistently from the Scriptures and made it a point to instruct the listeners the appropriate verses. In addition, many miraculous signs and wonders had followed during the sessions at Awana.
 

When John McLennan was invited to speak again by the FGB, I awaited in great anticipation for that Sunday night at the YMCA, Brickfields. I wanted to learn more of the Lord through this anointed man of God. But another story was to unfold that night.

About a month prior to this meeting, I was at the Tesco, Mutiara Damansara, shopping for my groceries. My three-year old son Nicholas wanted to sit in a shopping cart. At that time, he weighed at least 22 kilos. Foolishly, I lifted my son into the shopping cart-all 22 kilos of him.

The next day, my neck ached excruciatingly. I suspected that the pain was associated with either straining my back or neck muscles from that incident in Tesco. Suffice to say, reading a book, sitting up or driving a vehicle was a misery. My bedtime rest was an unpleasant and painful experience due to the pain in my neck.

That night at the YMCA, John had a Holy Spirit-prompted prayer for those who suffered from back problems. He asked those with the ailment and seeking for healing to lay their hands on the painful areas. I hastily placed my hands on my neck and praised the Lord for His healing.

Writing this almost a month later, my neck never gave me any more pain since that evening. I give all praise and thanks to the Lord for this healing touch from Him.
