Bro. Sim York Soo has retired from being the Editor of Voice and The Flame and will continue to act as an Editorial advisor. During his editorship, he has produced 20 issues of The Flame and 10 issues of English Voice, 4 issues of Chinese Voice and 1 issue of Tamil Voice from 1996.

A Tribute
Dr Stephen Goh pays tribute to Bro Sim as follows:

“The FGBMF is indebted to Bro Sim for his excellent work. Bro Sim came to my attention when I was editing the first three issues of the Voice which did not come out yearly. Mr Sim acquired diligently ad nauseam about the next issue and I told him that if he was so concerned, he should help out. He did better. He took over as editor of the Voice and The Flame and the rest is history. On behalf of FGBMF I thank Bro Sim York Soo for his stirling contributions.”
