SARAWAK REGION
There are 3 chapters in Sarawak: Kuching, Miri and Bintulu.

Taking on the call to go back to basics, the approach has been to build the men up first before activities are to proceed. The emphasis among the FGB brothers is to focus on the FGB core mission statement and that all activities should relate to it.

A “Leadership and Character” half day seminar was held on January 7 2006. About 12 men from different churches attended the session. The content of the seminar was drawn from the course materials used by Tim Elmore from a FGB meeting in Singapore) It will be modified and used at another seminar in Kuching as well as in Miri and Bintulu during the later part of the year.

The Kuching Chapter had an evangelistic dinner on February 17th 2006. The main speaker was Brother Brian Young. Brother Wilfred Marimuthu shared his testimony. About 12 people came to the saving knowledge of our Lord. The outcome of this was that a few, whose hearts had turned cold, were now coming back to the Lord. Currently, counselling for those brothers is in progress.
